Trip to Istanbul

I travelled to Istanbul today.
I will performing at the CCR Theatre tomorrow, presenting "Origen Flamenco".

I was here a couple of years ago when my last album, "Suite Iberia - Albéniz por Cañizares", was released.

It’s a beautiful city. I enjoy coming back because, as well as being marvellous, the people are always very friendly.

The Spanish National Ballet’s 30th Anniversary

Photo: WithMaestro José Antonio, Susana and Fernando Romero

Mariko and I were invited today by Master José Antonio to the presentation of the Spanish National Ballet’s 30th Anniversary, with the "Escuela Bolera" show.

As you can see, we went out to dinner afterwards. Mariko is missing from the photo... because she was the photographer... Perhaps another time...

Photo: With Taka at the Salon

I’ve been with my good friend Taka from Japan, collaborating as he records his first solo album. Here we are testing the tone and those other things...

The recording is finished. And we like how it turned out, don’t we Taka?
