Mauricio came to see me at home today.
We listened together to the recording of "Como Llora el Agua" that I have been preparing over the last few days.

It is one of Mauricio’s compositions that we premiered at the Berlin Contemporary Music Festival in March. It will be included on a CD to be launched this summer and presented at the Salzburg Summer Festival.

Ballet Nacional de España

Program of Ballet Nacional de España

I went to Torrelodones today to see a concert by the Ballet Nacional de España. In fact I composed the music for one of the pieces, "Caprichos". This is the first time I have seen this show from the audience (as I have nearly always been the guest performer).

After the concert, we went out to dinner with José Antonio, Fernando Romero and his wife Manuela, to a Madrid restaurant, and we talked about music and art until 3 in the morning.

Birthday of "CARMEN"

I sent to see "Carmen" by the Antonio Gades company in Madrid.
It was premiered in Paris 25 years ago today.
Beforehand, there was a screening of some pictures of the master, and I saw something he had once said which I though was very interesting:
"Discipline and Freedom"

I attended an event in Madrid today, and Estrella Morente was also there.
As always, Estrella looks beautiful, and she is a great person!

Birthday!

Today is my birthday. I am 24 (jejeje).

After going to my parent's house for a Mother's Day visit, 

we went to a paella restaurant in Madrid to spent some time with Miguel and Elena, who are principal dancers with Ballet Nacional de España!
